This cat in West Sumatra, Indonesia was freed by heroic rescuers on October 21 after the frisky feline got trapped in an iron fence.

Alya Syafa, the 14-year-old cat owner, said that previously, she called her cat to be fed in the house.

"He didn't answer me. I looked outside and saw him pinned against the fence," Alya said.

Animal rescuers from the Bukittinggi Fire Department came to the scene, and began to cut some of the iron fence that was clamping the cat.

"We had to saw the iron fence because cutting it with tongs would hurt the cat," Yudho Algama, head of the Bukittinggi Fire Department's rescue section said.

Animal rescuers from the Bukittinggi Fire Department, who came to the scene, cut some of the iron fence that was clamping the cat.

"We had to sawed the iron fence because cutting it with tongs would hurt the cat," Yudho Algama, head of the Bukittinggi Fire Department's rescue section said.

In footage, rescuers were careful when cutting metal, until 15 minutes later they managed to free the cat from the fence.
