Several onlookers turned into paparazzi upon spotting a herd of elephants near the road in Sri Lanka's North Central Province on November 29. The incident took place in Minneriya.

Visuals feature the locals stopping mid-way upon noticing elephants in their proximity. The jumbos munch on the greens adjacent to the road while the passers-by get down from their vehicle to click pictures of the pachyderm.

The elephants in the region are known for straying off their corridors. They often emerge on the roads, following which the passers-by halt their vehicle mid-way to behold the experience, obstructing vehicular movement.
