A British pensioner has been arrested after allegedly handcuffing and chaining a 14-year-old girl for child p*rn photos in Thailand.

Graham Holman, 82, allegedly paid the girl’s parents 1,000 THB (22 GBP) a time for them to leave her with him at his run-down home in Nong Khai province in the northeast.

He allegedly tied up the teenager with sex toys including chains and handcuffs as she posed with whips while he took pictures and molested her.

Concerned neighbours reported the pensioner to a local child welfare group who alerted police.

Holman, from Stockport, Greater Manchester, was arrested on Wednesday afternoon December 27 and remanded in custody without bail while police investigate.

A resident living near the child’s home said that they saw the elderly foreign man picking up the girl many times and taking her into his home.

He said: ‘I saw the child’s mother dropping her to the foreign man’s car and sometimes the father would drop her to the foreign man’s house. There were days that I would see the foreign man kissing the child before she went home.

‘I asked the girl and she told me that the old foreign man pays her 500 Baht and 700 Baht depending on which private part he touches.’

Officers said the court issued an arrest warrant for Holman, who moved to Thailand in 1991, for ‘performing indecent acts against a child under fifteen years old’.

They raided Holman’s rented two-storey wooden home and found whips, rattan sticks, chains and handcuffs that he is said to have used on the girl.

Police also checked his hard drive and allegedly found a large number of photographs and videos that he had taken of the girl, as well as an internet search history of explicit sites.

Deputy national police chief Suwat Chaengyodsuk, who oversaw the case, said the offence Holman was arrested over carries a prison term of up to five years along with a fine of 200,000 Baht (4,400 GBP).

Officers are now checking the Holman’s computer to find other charges that could be added before he appears in court.

The police chief said: ‘The British man has been charged for performing indecent acts against a child under fifteen years of age whether the child consents or not.

‘The 14-year-old girl was put up for prostitution by her parents, charging 1,000 to 1500 Baht for each session. The father, 28, and the mother, 41, have been charged with trafficking the child for prostitution.

‘The NGO group The HUG Project provided information that the British man had also tricked the victim to invite her friends to take part. The foreigner also offered a higher price when the victim was on her monthly period.

‘The suspect’s computer was taken for a forensic examination. We are investigating what he did with the images. More charges could be added depending on what is found on the computer.’

In April 2015, Thai Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha and the Minister of Defense announced an anti-human trafficking policy to target children being sold by their relatives.
