A herd of elephants strayed into a clearing to look for food in Sri Lanka's north-central province on April 17. The incident took place in Galkiriyagama.

Visuals feature the elephants strolling out of the dense forest towards a clearing. They walk at their own pace and munch on the greens while a curious crowd of onlookers gathers at a safe distance to behold the experience.

The elephants in the region often stray out of the forest cover during the rice harvest to look for food.
