The police caught hold of two men who sneaked into a liquor shop by drilling a hole into its wall and were drinking inside, in southern India's Tamil Nadu.

The incident happened in the Tiruvallur district and its video went viral on September 4.

Visuals showed one of the men wandering around in the middle of the road at midnight. In another visual the police were seen standing near the wall, where the rectangular hole was drilled by two men, inside the shop. One of them first came out of the shop using that hole with the help of the police gathered there. The other too followed suit as both were caught by the police.

It was learnt that these two men had originally come to the shop with an intent to steal liquor but decided on having some in the shop only. The police, who were on patrol, caught the two red-handed.
