Pretending to ask for donations, two men in Bandar Lampung, Lampung, Indonesia stole the cell phone of a motorcycle accessories store owner

This is the CCTV footage recording the act of two men stealing a cellphone.

The two perpetrators, who arrived on a motorcycle, pretended to ask for donations from the owner of a vehicle accessory store in Kelurahan Way Kandis, Tanjung Senang, Bandar Lampung.

However, when they saw that the store employee was distracted, the two perpetrators quickly snatched the mobile phone from the drawer of the cabinet and left the location.

The victim realized that he had become a victim of theft only after noticing that his cellphone was missing from its original place and checking the CCTV footage.

"I became suspicious after checking the CCTV footage and it turned out that the perpetrators were the ones who asked for donations. They usually come here once a week," said Aldiano, the victim of the theft.

The case of theft with the mode operation of asking for donations has been reported to the Tanjung Senang Police Sector in Bandar Lampung.

Based on the victim's statement, he recognized the perpetrators who often come to the store and other stores to ask for donations.
