This is the moment a sluggish python blocked a motorcycle driver when it took its time crossing the street.

The large snake, its belly bulging from its last meal, was seen dragging itself across the pavement in Rayong province, Thailand, on April 8 evening.

The motorcycle rider turned off his vehicle and waited for more than a minute before the beast finally disappeared into the tall grass.

The reticulated python is found throughout Southeast Asia, where they live in forests, swamps, canals and even in cities, causing them to come into conflict with humans. The species is one of the world's largest snakes and can eat humans, cats, dogs, birds, rats and other snakes.
