State rescue team officials safely rescues man stuck in river in northern India

In a valorous incident, a man stuck in a river was rescued safely by the state rescue team officials in northern India's Uttarakhand.

The incident took place in Pauri district on July 11.

As per reports, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) received information about a man being stuck in the river near Sidhbali temple. Upon receiving the information, a rescue team headed by Mahavir Singh rushed to the spot of the incident along with necessary equipment. The rescue operation took place during the dark hours of the night but with utmost hard work, courage and alertness, the man was successfully rescued with the help of a life jacket and rope.

As per the rescued man, he and his five friends were travelling in a car when suddenly his friend lost control of the car and they fell into the river. While one of them swam to the edge of the river, saved his life and informed the police about the incident, three other friends are still missing. The rescue team officials found their empty car afloat.

The rescue team officials are still searching to find the three missing people in probable areas.
