Drunk tourist performs drunken dance in front of police station in Thailand
A drunk tourist sparked alarm among residents with his drunken antics near a market in Thailand.
The male backpacker, whose identity was not disclosed by police, scared the locals as he rampaged near the Sattahip Market in Chonburi province at around 12:20 am December 18.
Sattahip Police Station officers were called to the scene to control the inebriated tourist, seen on video lifting chairs and struggling to stay on his feet.
Police said they had difficulties talking to the man as he kept walking away from them.
However, he agreed to be brought to the police station, where he then proceeded to baffle the officers by playing loud music on his phone and performing a bizarre dance in front of their office.
Footage shows the hulking man trying to wave his arms to the music as he performed the baffling dance number in front of amused officers.
The red-faced foreigner later collapsed to the ground from exhaustion.
Police took him inside the station to sober up, and contacted his relatives to pick him up.
In November, a drunk Russian tourist in Pattaya, Chonburi also caused a commotion when he stumbled into a pub to the astonishment of customers and the owner. Cops hauled him into a cell to sober up before releasing him.
