Truck Fleet After Sheared Overhead Water Pipe Floods Garage in Los Feliz, LA, USA
This footage was filmed and produced 20 February 2024.
The LAFD responded to the shopping complex at 5455 West Hollywood Blvd. for reports of flooding.
When crews arrived on scene, they located a large broken water pipe in the underground parking garage to the complex.
Part of the garage was flooded under several inches of water and rising.
A witness stated off-camera that a U-Haul truck sheared the pipe due to low clearance before fleeing the scene.
LAFD crews worked to shut off the water.
