The eruption of Mount Lewotobi in Indonesia, a number of flights at East Nusa Tenggara Airport were cancelled, due to the impact of volcanic ash and volcanic ash rain.

Due to the impact of volcanic ash from Mount Lewotobi Laki, four plane flights from Fransiskus Xaverius Seda Airport, Maumere, were cancelled.

The four flights that were canceled were due to the eruption of Mount Lewotobi Laki, this will be implemented from Friday 5 July 2024 until an undetermined time considering that Mount Lewotobi Laki was still erupting until Saturday 6 July 2024 early this morning.

The last eruption was on Saturday 6 July 2024, at 03.40 local time.

It is known that in the last week, Mount Lewotobi Laki has erupted 30 times.

The drone video shows residential areas affected by volcanic ash, namely in the villages of Hikong, Kringa and Timutawa in Sikka Regency. Meanwhile, the worst ashfall occurred in the villages of Boru, Hokeng Jaya, Dulipali, Klantanlo, Padang Pasir Preparation Village, and Nawakote B Preparation Village.
