This is the amusing moment a mother panda loses patience while trying to teach her cub to climb a tree in China.

Footage shows the frustrated mother roughly manhandling the cub in an unsuccessful attempt to get it climbing in Heilongjiang Province.

Shocked zoo visitors watched as she repeatedly grabbed the little cub by its fur and lifted it up to the tree.

Despite her efforts, the cub refused to cooperate, quickly dropping back onto the platform and attempting to flee.

The cub seemed determined not to climb the tree, much to its mother's frustration. She refused to give up, but both ended up toppling off the platform and landing on the ground.

The little panda was repeatedly seen flailing its paws in the air as it struggled to try and get away.

Later on, its mum lost her temper and flung the cub through the air to land in a pile of bamboo shoots.
