Teacher helps stray mother dog and puppies relocate to safer shed
A kind art teacher helped a stray mother dog and her puppies relocate from the school plant box to a safer shed.
Uten Mungyonklang found the crying newborns before class and decided to move the family into a new place to prepare for the monsoon storms in Nakhon Ratchasima province, Thailand on September 21.
Footage shows teacher Uten transferring the puppies into a basin and carrying them to their new home with their mum following behind.
The stray animal family had dry and clean clothes to sleep on and a roof over their heads.
Uten said: ‘I helped the dogs and their mum keep safe from rain. The spot where they previously stayed was waterlogged. The puppies could die.'
Thailand, a largely Buddhist nation, believes that kindness towards animals should be encouraged, with temples sometimes being a safe refuge for stray cats, dogs, and even monkeys that don't have homes.
