Officials swiftly rescue puppy trapped between house grills

A team of fire department officials successfully rescued a puppy by quickly cutting through the house grills to free it.

The incident took place in Manakala in the Adoor area of Pathanamthitta district in Kerala, southern India on December 26.

Visuals show the puppy’s neck trapped between the door grills, struggling desperately to free itself. Fire officials were seen using cutters to carefully cut through the grills and safely rescue the puppy.

Speaking to Newslions, Santhosh Kumar, Senior Fire and Rescue Officer at Adoor Fire & Rescue Station, Pathanamthitta, Kerala, stated that the rescue operation was carried out by Senior Fire and Rescue Officer Mr. Ajikhan, Fire and Rescue Officer Mr. Sanish, Mr. Santhosh, and Mr. Reji at 7:30 AM. The puppy's owner, Shibu Thomas of Manakkala, called the fire department when the puppy became stuck. The fire officials acted swiftly and rescued the puppy without any injuries.
