This is the dramatic moment jewellery shop workers scrambled to extinguish flames from a flammable liquid.

A female employee was cleaning her desk using thinner when one of her colleagues lit the table with a lighter, causing flames to spread all over the furniture at a religious amulet coating shop in Nonthaburi, Thailand.

The woman had overheard her colleague saying: 'Light it for me,' prompting her to take out the lighter and set the table on fire.

Upon seeing that the blaze was spreading, the two worked together to extinguish the fire using pillows and clothes to smother the flames.

Moments later, they managed to put out the fire.

No one was reportedly injured in the incident.

The shop owner said: 'This wasn't the first time it happened, and I kept reminding them to be careful when using thinner because it is highly flammable.'
