An unexpected student showed up at Parrish Community High School — and it definitely wasn’t on the roster. Deputies from the Manatee County Sheriff's Office were called to the scene to handle a scaly situation: an alligator had wandered onto campus!

In true school spirit, deputies "expelled" the rogue reptile and safely relocated it to a more natural environment, far from classrooms and cafeteria lunches. No students, staff, or gators were harmed in the process.

Thanks to the quick action of law enforcement, Parrish Community High School is once again all-clear for learning — minus one very confused (and now much happier) "student."
