Stranded Boat Rescued by Police on Popular Florida Beach
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A grounded boat drew attention at Hanna Park, a well-known beach destination in Florida, where officers from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit sprang into action.
Officer Stillwell and team quickly responded to the beached vessel, successfully guiding it back into the water. Beached boats can pose safety risks for visitors and lead to costly recovery for owners, but thanks to the officers' efforts, a larger problem was avoided.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office shared the response on social media, showcasing the Marine Unit’s readiness to tackle even the most unexpected incidents on Florida’s coastline.
