This is the terrifying moment huge python was caught hiding on a family's garden wall.

Footage shows the 13ft-long serpent on the ledge with half of its body coiled around a wooden beams in Nonthaburi, Thailand on October 11.

Rescuer Wiroj Boonthai said: 'We received a notification from Radio Center 191 Nonthaburi that a large python entered a house and was lying on the perimeter wall. We rushed to investigate and found a snake that was about four metres (13ft) long. We helped catch it and released it into the wild.'

The reticulated python is found throughout Southeast Asia, where they live in forests, swamps, canals and even in cities, causing them to come into conflict with humans. The species is one of the world's largest snakes and can eat humans, cats, dogs, birds, rats and other snakes.
