US, Los Angeles: Commerce Spilled Pallets Shut Down I-5 Lanes
Los Angeles, United States - September 09, 2025 09/09/2025 03:00 am GMT-0700 Commerce, Calif. – Officers from the California Highway Patrol responded to a situation on the northbound I-5 Freeway at Garfield Avenue, where multiple pallets were scattered across lanes 2, 3, and 4. Several vehicles are parked on the shoulder ahead of the debris, but it remains unclear whether there was a crash or if the vehicles collided with the pallets. A SigAlert was issued and expected to remain in place for at least one hour while officers await the arrival of CalTrans to clear the roadway. This incident is anticipated to impact the morning commute significantly.
