Floods in central India have devastated swathes of the countryside, including this incredible video of a riverside shop-front that was swept away in the roiling waters.

Eyewitness video shows multiple shops collapsing into a canal in mere seconds as the banks beneath them give way in Kukreshwar, Neemuch district of Madhya Pradesh state on August 16.

A number of wooden and tin shop stalls were lost though no casualties have been reported in the incident.

According to locals the boundary wall of the canal was damaged due to the floodwater.

Madhya Pradesh is reeling under a heavy rainfall, many Districts are facing flood , Neemuch district is also facing rains from couple of days, On 16th August in Kukreshwar town of Neemuch video multiple shops collapsed into a canal seconds. Tin and wooden shops were seen flowing in canal water. Though no casualties have been reported in the incident.
According to locals due to heavy rainfall, the boundary wall of the canal was damaged due to seepage of water.
Local municipal officials had warned the shopkeepers to vacate their shops but they did not listened.
