This is the shocking moment an unmanned tricycle knocked a fisherman into a lake.

CCTV footage shows a white hatchback slowly manoeuvring on the narrow pathway when the blue three-wheeler, parked on the roadside, suddenly rolled into the pond in Liaoning, China.

The electric vehicle can be seen swerving on the motorway before hitting the unsuspecting angler sitting on the bank on July 13.

The man tumbled into the water upon impact while a bystander rushed to help, in an attempt to stop the vehicle from moving.

The tricycle then halted when it became stuck on the edge of the reservoir.

Men sitting in a shed stood up upon hearing the loud scream of the woman, prompting them to stand up and help the victim.

The fisherman did not sustain any injuries from the incident.
