Phoenix, United States - December 07, 2025 12/06/2025 10:25 pm GMT-0700 AVONDALE, Ariz. – According to Arizona Department of Public Safety officials at the scene, a DPS trooper patrol vehicle was struck on the eastbound I-10 near the bottom of the Dysart entrance ramp at approximately 10:25 p.m. The patrol vehicle was stationary on the right side of the highway with emergency lights activated when the collision occurred. At least three vehicles were involved in the collision. The trooper was outside the vehicle, working an unrelated call for service at the time of the collision. Two people were hospitalized, including the driver who struck the patrol vehicle. Their conditions have yet to be confirmed. The trooper was uninjured. A partial eastbound closure was established at Dysart Road, restricting multiple lanes of travel while troopers investigated the collision.
