US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield Person Shot
Bakersfield, United States - December 26, 2025 12/26/2025 12:30 am GMT-0800 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Bakersfield police officers are investigating a reported shooting near the intersection of San Emidio and Elm Streets just before 12:30 a.m. Friday. A person was shot and later transported to a hospital, according to initial reports. The extent of the victim’s injuries was not immediately known. The victim allegedly crashed a vehicle after being shot or while shots were being fired. No suspect information has been released. A crime scene was established, and the incident remains under investigation.
