capture of Sumatran tigers
The Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) of West Sumatra, managed to catch a Sumatran tiger, which appeared and made a resident in the area of Ngalau Baribuik, Batu Gadang, Lubuk Kilangan District, Padang City, Tuesday night, August 28, 2018, at approximately 22.00 WIB.
The King of the Jungle who also had preyed on a number of local livestock a few days ago, was arrested by the West Sumatra BKSDA officer in the mining area owned by PT Semen Padang. BKSDA officers finally succeeded in paralyzing the male Sumatran tiger with an anesthetic shot. The plan is that the 2-year-old tiger will be taken to the tiger breeding center in Dharmasraya.
