Shocking moment thief tries to snatch ring from woman politician in public rally
This is the shocking moment a woman politician struggles to free herself from a thief who tries to snatch her ring at a political rally.
YS Sharmila, YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader, was campaigning near Mangalagiri in Andhra Pradesh, on March 30.
Sharmila was reaching out to her supporters through the window of her campaign bus and shaking hands with them.
Seeking to make use of the opportunity, a thief tried to snatch a golden ring from her hand.
Though taken aback, Sharmila struggled to free her hand from the man’s grasp.
She chose not to complain and carried on with her campaign.
Sharmila has been campaigning in support of her brother Jagan Mohan Reddy, the president of YSRCP party.
India is going to polls in April and May to elect a new federal government. Andhra Pradesh will also additionally vote to elect a new state government.
