Terrifying moment angry elephant attacks elderly man
This was the moment an elephant attacked an elderly man and injured him.
Dasayyah, 65, was working near his home in Hirehalla village in Tumkur district on March 9 when an angry elephant was spotted running in his direction. Though a few people in the vicinity shouted warnings the elephant caught up with him and flung him aside.
Luckily for him, the elephant did not pause to hurt him more and was seen running across a nearby field. Dasayyah has been shifted to a hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
Forest department officials have visited the area and are trying to track the elephant.
