A dog was rescued after getting stuck in the narrow metal bars of a gate when it tried to return to its house.

The pooch was discovered by neighbours struggling between the small metal gaps while its owner was away in Chonburi, eastern Thailand.

They tried helping the yelping animal but it was too aggressive, so they called rescuers for help on July 15.

Volunteers spent five minutes help the poor mutt out of the barrier as it tried to bite the team.

One of rescuers took the dog's back legs up and pushed it inside the property. The pooch was safe and without injuries after the rescue.
