The rescue operation was carried out on August 30 in Bhandara city.

Visuals from the evacuation operation show team of officials rescuing two children from the inundated area.

More than 3,000 people have been evacuated from Bhandara and Chandrapur districts of Maharashtra's Vidarbha region following heavy rainfall that left several placed submerged.

In Chandrapur, at least 500 people have been evacuated in the last two days from the deluged Ladaj village, which is flanked by rivers on both sides.
