This roadside kitchen in Indonesia uses power tools to mix a hearty drink called 'egg tea' for customers.

The stallholder, named Saridin, 46, mixes drinks with an electric drill in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra province.

In footage filmed on Friday (April 2), Saridin can be seen mixing egg yolk and sugar using a battery-powered electric drill fitted with a whisk.

The drink served is egg tea, a typical West Sumatra drink believed to generate stamina with a delicious, warm and not fishy taste.

Egg tea is a mixture of egg yolk, cane sugar, tea boiled water, milk, plus palm sugar and a special powder for flavoring.

"The drilling machine makes my work easier as it is faster than mixing the traditional way using a bunch of sticks," Saridin commented.
