Duo of doctors arrested for black marketing of medicines in central India

A doctor and a medical representative were arrested for allegedly being involved in the black marketing of medicines in central India's Madhya Pradesh on April 21. The incident took place in the Kharjana region of Indore.

A video features the police officials apprehending the two accused in broad daylight. Following this, they are brought to the police station for further investigation into the matter.

The doctor, identified as Aamir Khan, and the medical representative named Imran Khan working in the Mayur Hospital And Research Centre were arrested for being involved in black marketing of medicines. They were allegedly taking Rs. 60,000 (USD 800) for an injection that costs around Rs. 48,000 (USD 640).

Moreover, a person, identified as Jaydeep Savdhani, lodged a complaint against the two, accusing them of their demeaning act. Following this, the police registered a case under sections 420, 467, 468, and 34 under the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
