The tactics of terrorism seem to have no end in northern India's Jammu and Kashmir on June 23. The incident took place in a village in Poonch.

Visuals feature the security forces tracking down and recovering a live mortar shell lying amid the bushes in broad daylight. After a while, the troops dig a deep ground and put several bags around it. Following this, they carefully place the shell inside it and cover it with more loaded sacks to detonate it in a controlled explosion.

In a wicked plan hatched by the militants, a mortar shell was dropped near the Line of Control (LOC) in recent months when the cross-firing took place. Fortunately, the explosive did not detonate and caused no harm.

However, when the troops discovered it, the bomb disposal squad was called upon, and the mortar shell was diffused through a controlled explosion after evacuating the area.
