Illegal trading has emerged as one of the most formidable challenges during the current pandemic in southern India's Andhra Pradesh on June 22. The incident took place in Ramachandrapuram in East Godavari district.

Visuals feature the officials tracking down the illegal liquor manufacturing unit amid the bushes in broad daylight. After a few moments, they discover the barrels full of alcohol and destroy the containers, along with other materials, while liquid keeps flowing through the waterbody nearby.

Acting on a tip-off, the Seethanagaram sub-inspector, identified as Y. Sudhakar, along with a team raided an illegal liquor manufacturing unit in the hilly areas of the village and destroyed five distilleries and 40 liters of fermented jaggery from the barrels while an investigation into the matter is underway.
