Illicit liquor worth $1,749 seized in central India
Illicit alcohol worth Rs 1.3 lakh (USD 1,749) got seized in central India's Madhya Pradesh on August 18. The incident took place on the Gourjhamar-Rehli road, located in the Sagar district.
Visuals feature the police officials posing with the seized four-wheeler. The group stands beside the vehicle while several cartons loaded with illegal liquor rests on either side of the car's bonnet. Later, an official reveals the details of the case.
Police officials raided a car and seized at least 26 cartons of illicit liquor worth Rs 1.3 lakh (USD 1,749). However, upon being caught, the accused abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene, and further investigation into the matter is underway.
