An elephant strayed towards the residential region to look for food in eastern India's West Bengal on October 3. The incident took place in Gopiballavpur, located in the Jhargram district.

Visuals feature the jumbo emerging in the residential region. It walks along the narrow alleys while a crowd of curious villagers merrily parade behind it. Later, the pachyderm stops near a house and forces its trunk inside from a window, looking for food.

The elephants in the region often stray from their corridor and enter the residential area to look for subsistence. Moreover, the locals familiar with such incidents feed them edibles like bananas, etc.
