Leopard falls into well, gets rescued in southern India

A leopard that fell into a well got rescued and released in southern India's Tamil Nadu on November 13. The incident took place in Kotagiri, located in the Nilgiris district.

Visuals feature the leopard struggling to stay afloat inside the well. Following this, rescuers arrive at the spot and swing into action. They lower a cot-like object to fish the big cat out, securing the pulling process in a net. Following this, they transfer the leopard into the back of the vehicle and later release it into its natural habitat.

The Rapid Response team included Forester V.Thirumurthy, along with Forest Guards D.Kamaraj, B.Yogaraj, B.Karthik, Murugeshan , Kalidas, Imran, Viji, and, Palani Swamy. Moreover, the team released the big cat in the Upper Bhavani region after adeptly rescuing it.
