A laborer mined a diamond with Rs 15 lakh (USD 20,137) in central India's Madhya Pradesh. Visuals shot on November 24 feature the gem being found in the Panna district.

Visuals feature the designated authorities inspecting the light yellow diamond. They hold the tiny gem in their hands and look closely at it. Later, they weigh the diamond and reveal the details of the case.

A 33-year-old laborer, Shamsher, mined the diamond weighing 6.66 karats that costs up to Rs 15 lakh (USD 20,137). Following this, he handed over the gem to the authorities, who inspected the diamond and placed it for an auction. Moreover, after the gem is auctioned, the royalty amount would be deducted from the final price, and the remainder will be forwarded to the owner of the gem.
