A very large python with a length of 5.5 meters and weighing 100 meters was caught by residents of Solok, West Sumatra, Indonesia, Thursday 26 February 2023.

The python was found by a resident of Solok who wanted to go gardening, because the snake was large, the residents called other residents to catch the python.

one of the residents named fathur tried to pull the big snake from the bushes so it wouldn't run away.

because it was so big, fathur felt tired and was helped by his friend to pull the snake out of the bushes.

fathur said "the strength of the snake is very large and difficult to pull, it looks like the snake has also eaten a resident's livestock, judging from the roundness of its stomach,"

The snake will later be handed over to reptile lovers to help release it into a more appropriate forest, so it doesn't disturb residents going to the garden and eating the residents' livestock.
