Cow and cowherd fall into a 17-foot deep well in Indonesia. Firefighters were called to the site to help get the cows out.

Footage filmed on the corn field in Agam Regency, West Sumatra Province, today (4 March).

Rescuers put water in the well until it is full. Cow owners and residents help firefighters pull cows that float a little.

The evacuation pulled the cows to the surface for nearly an hour. Darman, an officer from the Agam Regency Fire Rescue Team, said that the cow was being herded by the son of the owner of the cow named Seprizal (26).

“The cow walked beside the old building of Al-Hikmah Titisan Tunggang Kindergarten and suddenly fell and pulled Seprizal into the well. They don't see any wells as they are covered in weeds," Darman said as conveyed by the cowherd.

According to Darman, the cowherd climbed onto the cow's back to get out of the well.

Officers are constrained by the well which is quite deep and narrow. Efforts to remove the cow together help the cow safely without injury.
