A brave delivery man and a Good Samaritan joined forces to capture a thief in a dramatic chase in eastern China.

The CCTV footage was filmed in Suzhou City in Jiangsu Province on November 27.

When a woman's desperate shout for help echoed through the streets, "Someone, help! Catch the thief!" Wang Xiaoxiao, during his delivery route, and Tang Longfei, a concerned citizen, didn't hesitate. Springing into action, they spotted the victim and the fleeing perpetrator.

Tang quickly offered his scooter to the victim, initiating a high-speed chase, while Wang realising his delivery was at risk of being late, made a decisive turn to join in the pursuit.

Demonstrating remarkable teamwork and determination, the duo skillfully navigated the busy streets, outmanoeuvring the thief at every turn.

In a pivotal moment, Wang seizing the perfect opportunity, landed a powerful flying kick, stunning the thief. Tang skillfully closing in from behind helped Wang subdue the robber.

The police arrived swiftly at the scene, where they recovered the stolen 200 yuan (£23) and apprehended the suspect, who now faces a seven-day administrative detention.

The local police are currently processing commendations for Tang and Wang for their courageous act. Wang, the humble delivery hero, shared with the police that despite the delay in his delivery, his customer, upon learning of the incident, praised his heroic deed.

目前，警方正在为唐龙飞、王笑笑申报见义勇为奖励。外卖小哥王笑笑告诉民警，当时他正在派送外卖，虽然延迟了一会儿，但顾客得知缘由，也给他点了赞！
