Pilot injured as helicopter on way to pickup political leader crash lands in Raigad
On Friday (3rd may) morning, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sushma Andhare had a close shave as the helicopter coming to pick her up for travel during campaigning crash lands in Maharashtra’s Raigad district. The pilot of the chopper suffered injuries. Andhare was to be picked up for a public rally as part of Lok Sabha election campaign, a police official told. Citing preliminary findings, he added that the helicopter’s rotor blades got damaged in the incident.
