Kind residents help pull car that fell into flooded canal
Kind residents helped pull a car that fell into a canal while wading through floods in the Philippines.
Footage shows the men holding onto the SUV's rear bumper to prevent it from being washed away into the water as Typhoon Gaemi battered the capital, Manila, on July 24.
They tied it to a truck that passed by and offered to help before firemen arrived to assist them.
The good Samaritans successfully saved the vehicle, and its driver was also unhurt.
Resident Lhanmar Marcelo said: 'It was a very touching moment. They all helped willingly despite being affected by the flood themselves.'
Typhoon Gaemi killed 22 in the Philippines after lashing through mainland Luzon for almost a week, intensifying monsoon rains. It headed to Taiwan, killing three people and injuring more than 200 when it made landfall.
