氢气是一种易燃易爆气体。在常温下，它不易与氧气发生反应，但一旦遇到明火、太阳暴晒、压力过高，或者与其他物体摩擦产生静电，就有可能造成瞬间爆炸，变成一个高热的火球，灼伤周围的人员。
