Caught on Camera. Street Racing Crash in Vacaville, California Sends One to Hospital

VACAVILLE, Calif. — A 22-year-old Vacaville man was arrested following a street racing crash that injured one person and damaged multiple vehicles, according to the Vacaville Police Department.

Just after 8 p.m. on Peabody Road near Cliffside Drive, a black Ford Mustang and a Corvette exited the Cliffside Drive off-ramp from eastbound Interstate 80 at high speed. The Mustang lost control while turning and collided with two uninvolved vehicles, sending debris flying and causing significant damage.

One victim was transported to the hospital with injuries. The Mustang driver was booked into Solano County Jail for reckless driving and street racing. His vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
