WOODBURY, Minn. — An injured eagle spotted on Woodbury Drive received lifesaving care Saturday, thanks to quick action from local residents and first responders.

On May 17, the Woodbury Police, Fire, and EMS Department responded to calls about the eagle and dispatched Officer Andrew Mattson to assist. Officer Mattson located the bird and helped secure it for transport.

The eagle was transferred to the Raptor Center, where it is currently receiving medical treatment.

“All in a day’s work,” the department shared on Facebook, thanking the community and the Raptor Center for their support.
