Footage filmed by a passerby at Kshaid Khreng Khreng shows a powerful waterfall cascading directly over a road leading to Syntein village, triggered by intense monsoon rains in the region. The gushing water crashes onto the path below, forcing cars to pass underneath the torrent — appearing minuscule against the backdrop of nature's raw force.

While the scene holds an almost magical beauty, authorities have warned of its dangers. The East Khasi Hills District Administration has issued an advisory, urging residents and travelers to avoid crossing rivers, streams, or any waterlogged routes during heavy rains. The caution extends to suspension bridges and wooden structures, which may not withstand the force of floodwaters.
