CORONA, Calif. — Officers with the City of Corona Police Department rescued a baby from a hot vehicle on June 17, 2025, after responding to reports of a child left alone with the engine off and windows up.

Upon arrival, officers found the baby in visible distress and immediately broke a window to remove him from the car. The Corona Fire Department measured the interior temperature of the vehicle at approximately 110 degrees using a thermal device.

Authorities emphasized the dangers of leaving children in parked vehicles, especially during hot weather. The incident remains under investigation.
