NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — Deputies from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office wrangled two runaway pigs earlier this week after the animals were spotted roaming through a neighborhood in North Fort Myers.

Homeowners alerted authorities to the unusual sight, prompting a swift response. Deputies used quick thinking—and likely a few treats—to safely corral the adventurous pigs.

The animals were turned over to Animal Control and are now on their way home. The sheriff’s office shared the lighthearted story on Facebook, noting it was just “LCSO saving the day, one oink at a time.”
