Rooster stands on top of duck to stay dry during flood
A clever rooster was seen riding the back of a duck to stay dry during the flood.
Footage shows the chicken standing on top of another feathered animal amid a deluge in Camarines Sur, the Philippines.
It then hopped onto a hut while the other bird stayed perched in the water on July 22.
Onlooker Mackenzie Borbe said: ‘It was a funny scene. The rooster could not swim and stayed close to the duck when it rained. Then in the morning I saw it riding its friend.'
The deluge came as Typhoon Wipha battered the country, bringing heavy rainfall and flash floods. The storm also triggered deluges in Thailand, Vietnam, and Hong Kong.
At least seven people were killed and over 60,000 displaced in the Philippines alone.
