An accident involving a Fiat Palio left seven occupants injured on the morning of Sunday, September 21, 2025, around 11 a.m., on Avenida Coronel Joaquim Lúcio, in Goiânia.

According to a witness who was driving nearby, the vehicle lost control in front of them and flipped twice. Inside the car were five women and two men. The witness’s driver slowed down, parked in a safe spot, and helped pull the victims out of the vehicle.

When they noticed one person was trapped by their seatbelt, Flavio — another bystander who had also stopped to help — went to his own car, grabbed a utility knife he usually carries for installing awnings, and returned to cut the belt and free the victim. The moment was also captured on video by the witness.

There is still no official information about the victims’ medical condition or whether emergency response teams were dispatched to the scene.
