MARIETTA, Ga. — U.S. Army Soldiers with the Kennesaw-based 277th Maintenance Company were honored during a homecoming ceremony Dec. 12 at Hangar Five at the Clay National Guard Center in Marietta, according to the Georgia Army National Guard.

The 277th Maintenance Company is assigned to the 110th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 78th Troop Command, and has supported numerous emergency response operations across the state and region. Most recently, the unit provided personnel and technical expertise in support of Joint Task Force–Southern Border.

Family members, friends and fellow service members gathered to welcome the Soldiers home following their latest mission, recognizing their service and commitment both overseas and in domestic operations.

The ceremony marked a return to home station after months of supporting critical logistical and maintenance efforts in support of national defense and homeland security missions.
